Our leadership team at VCC is comprised of forward-looking, dedicated, and experienced executives. Working with each other and with our employees, they are focused on guiding the company to ensure we are continually growing, serving our clients and delivering excellence in construction.

Derek Alley

Chief Executive Officer
Derek is Chief Executive Officer for VCC. Derek has worked in various facets of the Company, from project management to business development, marketing and as Managing Director. Prior to VCC, Derek worked in San Francisco with Blackrock in their Real Estate Private Equity Division. Derek earned his BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. He enjoys golf, fishing, writing and music.

Sam Alley

Chairman
Sam serves as Chairman of VCC. While in college at the University of Arkansas, Sam began working in the construction industry. Inspired by his father, who was an entrepreneur, Sam co-founded VCC in 1987 and is now recognized as one of the top engineering and construction professionals in the United States.

Ryan McClendon

President
Ryan serves as President of VCC. Hired by VCC right out of college, Ryan started his career as a Project Engineer and worked his way up to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, VP, Executive VP and now President. Ryan earned his BS in Construction from Texas A&M University and enjoys golf, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

John Allan

Chief Operating Officer
John serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his time with VCC, John worked at Summit Interior Construction, working on metal framed buildings, office, retail and medical interiors and exteriors. He started at VCC as a Project Engineer and Assistant Superintendent, and worked his way up to Superintendent, General Superintendent, SVP of Operations, and now COO. John enjoys desert power sports, cars (anything involving speed), fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Brad Davis

Chief Financial Officer
Brad serves as Chief Financial Officer for VCC. In 1994, Brad left public accounting for the private sector and started working for VCC as Assistant Controller. He continued to work in project management and was promoted to CFO in 2003. Since 2010, Brad has been an active member on the Baptist Health Foundation Board and has served as their Chairman. Brad earned his BS/BA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He enjoys cycling, duck hunting and fly fishing.

Wayne Alley

Executive Vice President – Risk Management
Wayne is an Executive Vice President of VCC and tasked with mitigating risk exposures to the company, clients and trade partners. With over 30 years of experience, Wayne evaluates potential future hazards to overall operations by assessing the impact and implementing tactics to reduce risk. Wayne has a BS in Construction Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is on the National Safety Committee and a member of the Associated General Contractors of America. In his free time he enjoys golf and fishing.

Jerry Horani

Chief Technology Officer
Jerry is the Chief Technology Officer for VCC. He started his career here as an intern in college and has worked his way from Support Engineer, Programmer, Software Developer and IT Director, up to now CTO. Jerry grew up in Amman, Jordan and earned his BS in Computer Science and System Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is interested in learning new technologies and reading.

Raouf Kassissieh

Controller
Raouf serves as Controller for VCC. He was hired straight out of college and has been with the VCC for over 20 years. He earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and enjoys watching college sports and playing soccer.

Donna Bean

Director of Human Resources
Donna is Director of Human Resources for VCC. Prior to joining the VCC team, she worked as HR and Payroll Manager for TCBY, and Payroll Manager for Fairfield Industries. She has been with the VCC team since 2001. Donna earned her Associate's degree in Accounting from University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton and enjoys traveling and sightseeing.

Donn Calaway

Chief Design Officer and Director
Donn serves as Chief Design Officer and Director of our architectural group, Design & Construction Integration (DCI) which offers design services along with design-build services to our clients. Prior to VCC, he worked as a VP at Cromwell Architects/Engineers in Little Rock, AR and Architecture Involution (ai3) in Wayland, MA. Donn has been with VCC since 2006. Donn earned his degree in Architectural Engineering from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and enjoys spending time with his family, furniture design, and woodworking.

Jon Herring

Quality Control Director
Jon serves as Quality Control Director for VCC. Prior to VCC, Jon was a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers and then a Superintendent for Centex Homes. Jon is an integral part of leading our Total Quality Management team. Jon earned his Masters of Tax Accounting from the University of Florida and enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing, triathlons, and working on home improvement projects.

Adrianna Sapra

Vice President and Director of Marketing
Adrianna serves as Vice President and Director of Marketing for VCC. Prior to her employment at VCC, Adrianna worked for The Center for American Progress on their Economic Development team and for Senator Mark Pryor in Washington, DC. She started her career with VCC as Proposal Coordinator and Marketing Manager. Adrianna earned her BA in Economics and Sociology from Washington and Lee University, and her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Georgia. In her free time, Adrianna enjoys watching college sports, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

Brian Core

Executive Vice President – Atlanta Office
Brian serves as an Executive Vice President of VCC and leads the Atlanta office. He joined the VCC team immediately following his college graduation. He held positions as Project Manager, Vice President, and SVP prior to becoming an Executive Vice President. He has been with VCC since 1995. Brian earned his BS in Civil Engineering from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and enjoys snow skiing and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Don Davis

Executive Vice President
Don serves as an Executive Vice President of VCC and leads the West Coast office. He joined the VCC team immediately following his college graduation and held positions as an intern, project engineer, project manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President and now EVP. He has been with VCC since 1996. Don earned his BS in Construction Management from the Rinker School of Construction at the University of Florida. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, snow and watersports, and the great outdoors.

George "Dolph" Erskine

Senior Vice President
Dolph serves as a Senior Vice President of VCC. He was hired straight out of college and has held positions as a Project Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, VP and now SVP. He has been with VCC since 1998. Dolph earned his BS in Building Construction from Northeast Louisiana University and enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and LSU football.

Ron Giebels

Senior Vice President
Ron serves as a Senior Vice President of VCC. He worked as a laborer and form work carpenter during the summer while in college, and was hired by VCC after his college graduation. Ron began his career as a Project Engineer and worked his way up to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, VP, and now SVP. Ron has been with VCC since 1995 and earned his BS in Building Construction from University of Florida. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing guitar and golf.

Anthony Brown

Vice President
Anthony serves as a Vice President for VCC. He was a homebuilder for 5 years and a Staff Accountant for 3 years prior to joining VCC. He has works as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and now VP. Anthony earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and his MBA from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He enjoys hanging out with family and friends, college football – and Harley Davidson Motorcycles, which he has ridden across all the lower 48 states.

Jason Keeney

Senior Vice President – Dallas Office
Jason serves as a Senior Vice President for VCC. He was hired directly out of college and has held positions as an intern, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, VP and now SVP. He has been with VCC since 2000. Jason earned his BS in Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State and is a big football fan (OK State and Dallas Cowboys), enjoys golfing and cooking anything outside on the smoker.

Hadi Wehbe

Senior Vice President
Hadi serves as a Senior Vice President for VCC and was hired as a Project Engineer right after college. He has also held positions as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Vice President. Hadi grew up in Accra, Ghana and lived in Beirut Lebanon for some time. He earned his BS in Building Construction and Management from the University of Florida and enjoys soccer, travel, history and spending time with family.

John Davenport

Senior Vice President – Houston and McAllen, TX Offices
John has worked at VCC since graduation from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in 1998. He has transitioned through many roles during his 20+ years at VCC (Field Project Administrator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Vice President) prior to his current engagement as a Senior Vice President of Project Management. John leads both our McAllen and Houston, TX offices. Outside of work, John enjoys quiet walks on the beach, time with his wife and children, and hunting. John's favorite not-for-profit organizations include VCC Cares, CCA, LLS, Rotary, and Trinity Episcopal Church.

William Rushing

Senior Vice President- Tampa Office
Will serves as a Senior Vice President for VCC and leads the Tampa office. Will worked part time and summer jobs at grocery stores and construction companies and began his career at VCC right out of college. He has been with VCC since 2000. Will earned his BS in Construction Management from South Dakota State University and enjoys watching sports or shows with his wife, spending time with his kids, and exercise.

Dale Laster

Vice President - Operations
Dale serves as a Vice President of Operations for VCC. Dale has worked with VCC since 1990, holding positions as Carpenter Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and General Superintendent. Dale enjoys farming, hunting and fishing in his free time.

Corey Schaubroeck

Operations Manager
Corey serves as an Operations Manager for VCC. Prior to VCC, he worked for ABS Construction Solutions and owned and operated Beautyscapes LLC, a landscape company. At VCC, he has held positions such as Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Senior Superintendent, Project Coordinator and Regional Operations Manager. Corey earned his Associates degree in Commercial Construction Management from Gwinnett Technical College and enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, outdoor activities, and traveling.

Andrew Hubbell

Vice President
Andrew serves as Vice President of Operations for VCC. Prior to VCC, he was a Carpenter at Nabholz Construction, later he worked in Political and Veteran Affairs, and is a U.S. Army Combat Veteran. At VCC, he has worked in various aspects of the company from Project Engineer to Project Management and now VP. Andrew has been with VCC since 2007 and earned his BA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In his free time, Andrew enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with family.

Art Buckelew

Operations Manager
Art serves as an Operations Manager for VCC. Prior to VCC, he worked for Exxon in the oilfield for 14 years, and worked for Louisiana Tech University managing roofing and sheet metal work for campus buildings. At VCC, Art has held positions as a Superintendent and General Superintendent prior to becoming an Operations Manager. Art enjoys spending time with his family and being out on the lake.

Paul Benedict

Operations Manager
Paul serves as an Operations Manager for VCC. Prior to VCC, Paul worked for his family’s overhead door company and home improvement company. He joined the VCC team in 2005 and has held positions of Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and Senior Superintendent prior to becoming Operations Manager. Originally from Niles, Ohio, Paul enjoys college football and anything that gets him outside, including camping and hiking.

Randy Murray

Operations Manager
Randy serves as an Operations Manager for VCC. Prior to VCC, he worked for Mobley Contractors, a heavy civil contractor. At VCC, he has held positions as Superintendent, Quality Control Manager and General Superintendent (Multifamily). Randy earned his BS Construction Management degree from University of Arkansas – Little Rock and enjoys everything outdoors including kayaking, fishing, camping and yard games.

Scott Anders

Safety Director
Scott serves as Safety Director for VCC. He served 20 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic, 12 yeas with The Brandt Companies as Director of Safety, and 2 years as Safety Manager with Core Safety prior to joining the VCC team. Scott is a leader in our Risk management department and emphasizes the value of safety on each and every jobsite. Scott is a Certified Safety Professional and earned his AAS in Occupational Health and Safety from San Juan College in New Mexico. In his free time, Scott enjoys golf, wake surfing and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Mike Stubbs

Vice President – Scheduling
Mike serves as Vice President of Scheduling for VCC. He began his career in construction in 1988 working with VCC as a carpenter. He has held roles as a Foreman, Superintendent, and Regional General Superintendent. Mike leads our team of schedulers in both preconstruction and construction scheduling. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, sports, fishing and carpentry.

Robert Castaneda

Operations Manager
Robert serves as an Operations Manager for VCC. Prior to VCC, he worked in biotech building clean rooms. At VCC since 2015, he has held positions as Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, General Superintendent and now Operations Manager. When not working, Robert enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
