Slidell Municipal Auditorium
The Slidell Municipal Auditorium is a celebrated, new performance building designed to replace Slidell’s 57-year old auditorium ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. Designed with the same basic size and structure as the original auditorium, the two-story building holds approximately 750 seats, a mezzanine and a professional theatrical lighting and rigging system. The new auditorium’s design is a substantial improvement and an upgrade to withstand future acute hurricane weather. VCC successfully completed construction on time and on budget.
