Slidell Municipal Auditorium

The Slidell Municipal Auditorium is a celebrated, new performance building designed to replace Slidell’s 57-year old auditorium that was ravished by Hurricane Katrina. Designed with the same basic size and structure as the original auditorium, the two-story building holds approximately 750 seats, a mezzanine and a professional theatrical lighting and rigging system. Yet the new auditorium’s design differs in that it will be able to withstand future acute hurricane weather. VCC successfully completed construction on time and on budget.
