AMC Fiesta Square in Fayetteville, AR took home the Award.

We are proud to announce that our team won two Excellence in Construction Awards at the Arkansas Associated Builders and Contractors awards! Accepting the awards are (L to R) Jones Clemons, Aaron Mcdonnel, Will Skelton, and Justin Couch who were the Project Managers and Project Executive on the projects. Our project AMC Fiesta Square in Fayetteville, Arkansas won the Commercial $1 million to $5 million award. We renovated an existing 47,500 sf theater by adding new flooring, lighting, additional interior renovations. New areas included concessions, bar, and lounge. We also added ticketless entry and other amenities. The upgrades within the theater included new lounge seating, upgraded equipment and sound systems, and new carpet and painting. Our team was able to complete this, safely, while the theater was operational in a five month schedule. We also won the Other Construction over $20 million award for Landmark Apartments in Little Rock. We constructed 8 apartment buildings totaling 196 garden style apartments, 1 clubhouse, 4 garages, and a leasing/maintenance building. Landmark was a HUD development and as such our team worked closely with them for approvals, permits, etc to ensure a smooth construction. Our pre-construction team worked tirelessly on Landmark primarily because the land conditions are not ideal. It was built on a mountain with a massive amount of rock present, which had to be blasted and removed. VCC is proud of everyone on these teams who worked so hard to complete these projects and win these awards!
