Grand Opening

Yesterday was the momentous occasion of the grand opening of the Publix supermarket we completed inside of our Summerhill Station project in Downtown Atlanta. Mayor Andre Dickens, Atlanta City Council members, the owners, and several patrons attended the opening which took place at dawn. It will help feed citizens in Summerhill, Peoplestown, and Mechanicsville, where it is currently a food desert. As patrons of the store told our team at the opening, it means so much to them to have fresh food close by.

If you are one of the lucky ones who was at Turner Field in the 1990s watching the Atlanta Braves dominate then you may have been in the exact place where Chipper Jones hit one out of the stands and in the parking lot. That same parking lot is where we have a project underway, Summerhill Station.
