Congratulations to our VP of Operations on his 31st Anniversary with VCC!

We are proud to celebrate Dale Laster’s 31 year anniversary with VCC. Dale is our VP of Operations but started with VCC working as a carpenter on one of our earliest jobs, remodeling the Arkansas Gazette building. Over the years he has worked on many landmark projects, mostly in his home state of Texas. Just a few of those projects are Bass Pro Shops, Central Texas College, The Archer Hotel, Magnolia Station Lofts. Dale says The SoNo Collection was his largest and most challenging, and it has won several awards. Here are a few things he says about the industry as well as working at VCC for so many years.

“Working at VCC is never boring. It is always changing and challenging, yet very satisfying. My advice to those starting out in construction is to work hard, never back up to your paycheck, and go to work with a purpose. Success will find you. I have been in this industry for 35 years and have seen many things change. I’ve been through a few tough times and many good times. There seems to be never ending change. One constant here at VCC has been a voice to listen to you about any subject has never been more than a phone call away.”

We want to thank Dale for his 31 years of service. We appreciate all that you have done for and given to VCC and our team at large. We look forward to more years with you as part of our VCC Family!
