We’re excited to announce the Grand Opening of the 2nd phase of Landmark Apartments. On a beautiful afternoon at the property, friends, associates, community leaders, VCC team members, as well as Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., gathered to celebrate the occasion. Phase 1 of this project was completed in 2018, and we were honored with an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Arkansas Chapter. This event marks the completion of our construction for the project, and this phase brings an additional 176 apartments to the city. The six garden style buildings feature units with amenities consistent with Class A apartments like stainless steel appliances, marble countertops and constructed with acoustic dampening to improve noise control between units.
Below, VCC Chairman, Sam Alley gives some opening remarks, followed by the Mayor and the construction Project Manager, Foster Pollock.

Friends, colleagues and VCC teammates enjoy the afternoon by the pool.
The festivities were held on the pool deck of the apartments. Nicely appointed common areas adjoin the pool area by roll-up doors. A gym and other small meeting areas are also attached the pool creating space for the community to congregate.
Project Manager Foster Pollock notes, “the pool, gym and common areas create a nice place for recreation for the new tenants.” Foster says that many residents of phase 1 work in healthcare, are teachers or other young professionals.
We are grateful for the support of community partners and the mayor’s office for helping to make this project a success. Foster was proud to announce that the Phase 2 expansion was delivered on time and on budget – a hallmark for any VCC project.
