30 Years of Excellence
2017 has been a wonderful year for our company, as we celebrated our 30th Anniversary. We have continued to grow as a company throughout the years. From innovation and technology, to our team and charitable contributions, we are dedicated to building projects better and smarter than has ever been done before and making a difference in our communities. This year, we completed projects of all sizes and across all product types. We completed hotel projects (ex. Inn at the Pier and Archer Hotel) warehouse projects (ex. Public Storage and CubeSmart), multifamily (ex. Gateway Apartments and Magnolia Station Lofts), and the largest IKEA in America in Burbank, California to just name a few!
VCC Cares has also had a successful year and we added another element to giving with our #30actsofkindness campaign. The main The annual VCC Cares Charity Golf Tournament raised a record amount and donations wer emaid to Community Connections, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Special Operations Warrior Foundation and several other local charities. Our entire VCC team rolled up their sleeves and volunteered or collected donations throughout the entire year to give back to those in need. We played soccer for Susan G Komen, helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity, donated and volunteered at foodbanks and Ronald McDonald House Charities, and even built a doghouse with the help of Omniplan Architects for the SPCA of Texas! We have enjoyed every minute.
We ended the year coming together for our company retreat and 30th Anniversary party in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The team was able to come together from all of our 9 offices and field to explore important topics to the industry and how we plan to grow together in the future. We closed the retreat with our anniversary and Christmas party. Our CEO Sam Alley was gifted a picture showing him on his first project as a Project Manager.
All in all, 2017 was a great year for us as a company to not only look back and share with you all where we have been, but also explore where we are headed for the next 30 years and beyond!
