VCC is a full-service commercial general contractor with extensive experience in pre-construction, design-build, construction management, consultation, value engineering and contract delivery.
General Contracting
VCC offers flexibility in contracting methods to fit our clients’ needs. As your general contractor, we will work as an extension of your team. VCC uses its extensive regional and national contacts to begin the formation of the bidders list of contractors. Through pre-bid reviews with trade contractors, we ensure that bid packages are complete in scope and detail.
PreConstruction
Our in-house Constructability Review Team plays a critical part in every project. We work together with the design team to troubleshoot and resolve any design document issues that may cause a challenge in the field once construction begins. From the beginning of the project to the end, we help the team by providing budget updates, preconstruction conferences with each trade, alert scheduling and regular progress meetings. We also understand that the success of a project depends greatly on working with exceptional trade partners. We have a database of over 80,000 trade partners and have built strong relationships locally, regionally and nationally to best serve our clients. Our robust prequalification process through ConstructionBevy allows us to choose the best partners for the project, and also implement an efficient and effective system.
Construction Management
VCC has a strong reputation for our Construction Project Management team in handling the bid process, negotiating contracts, management, field procurement and construction with top-notch industry capability and proficiency. With 80,000+ subcontractors in our database, VCC conducts a competitive trade selection process. First and foremost, we qualify subcontractors for each job site ensuring quality work finished on schedule and within budget.
Construction Scheduling
Our project scheduling team has extensive experience in scheduling projects. We apply this experience, along with historical data, to build a preliminary schedule for the project. Focused, predictive scheduling also enables VCC to quickly evaluate and execute any change orders, avoid bottlenecks, schedule inspections and keep owners informed of the exact status of their project.
Budgeting
We believe that our involvement early on in the project will enhance the performance of the work and is key to overall success. Our team will work closely with the design team during the development process, providing costing information on material selections, construction methods and scheduling input. This collaboration creates greater confidence that the project budget is maintained.
Quality Assurance
